What Makes A Music Rock Star?

What makes one music artist a Rock Star while another not? What is it about the essence of a musician that makes him or her seem larger than life, untouchable? Is it the level of fame? Is it the attitude? Is it the make-up and clothes? I think that it is all of these things, but I also think there is something deeper, something that lies underneath and is hard to grasp. In fact, when discussing the essence of a Rock Star, it's not a stretch to say that Rock Stars are like Gods. The embody a aura of the fantastical , to the point that the are no longer viewed as mortals.

But what is it about the Music Artist that makes them a Rock Star? Just naming a few that stand out, like John Lennon, Mick Jagger, David Bowie, Robert Plant, these artists all had many common traits. For example, they all wore excessive clothing and attitudes too. When John Lennon strutted down the streets of New York City with his white suit and Yoko, man, you could see this guy a mile a way. You couldn't' miss the cool, hip I don't give a crap attitude. Same with Jagger, Bowie, Plant and others. But was the attitude enough? I mean, sure these guys could dress, but so could a bunch of other dudes.

All of the mentioned Rock Stars above had more than just the clothes and attitude, they had the music. We're not talking about one or two hits, but dozens if not hundreds of hits, that is quite frankly, mind boggling. All these Rock Gods were just machines when it came to writing and music. It was non stop for them and this dedication and effort was a bit part of their personality.

Take Jimmy Page, for example, although he wasn't a lead singer like the other Rock Stars I just mentioned, he was still a Rock God. He was Jimmy Page, for gawd sake, this guy just rocked. And he too held a common trait with the other guys, he wore great clothes, had attitude and was a hard worker.

I'll go as far as saying that, in order to be a true Rock Star, a true Rock God, you need more than just the clothes and the attitude, you need the hard work and perseverance. Take Iggy Pop, for example, here's a guy who had only a handful of hits, but there isn't one person who would doubt that he is a Rock Star.

So what makes a Rock Star? I think it's a combination of looks, attitude, style, fanaticism to succeed and that special something that is indescribable but lies just underneath, that aura of a Rock God.

  1. I think what makes a rock God, is destiny, it is the attitude, and it is the style,

For example what would you think of a rocker who defied any and all odds, I think of Elvis P, and his sucessor Eric M.

When Elvis started out nobody would play his songs, he was the most hated on and mocked performer of them all, the blacks wouldn't play him because he was white (So the Blacks were racists against him) and the Whites wouldn't play cause he sounded Black (So even the whites were racist against him)

But the truth at the end of the day, says this, it doesn't matter what the critics say, critics are some of the most corrupt people of them all, and all the critics hated Elvis.

But Elvis was man of the people, and it was in that respect that he truly shines.

Eric M, is the Emperor of Rock, he hasn't risen just yet, but when he ascends to his rightful place in the Rock world it would have happened the most awesome of ways, his rise to stardom, came by the hands of Heaven itself, when he first rose to stardom, he did it against his will, He went to American Idol, but to be a real hero, he sacrificed his pride and his will at the drop of a hat, to kamikaze his own career, for other peoples sakes.

His career started off with a letter he sent to Sharon Osbourne, and while his life sped out of control, he wound up at American Idol, that same letter came back at him but in a way he never expected, now in order for you all to see how this whole story works you have to see all the angles or enough to get the players involved outside of Eric himself,

you see Sharon Osbourne is the evil queen of Metal, and like any queen worth her salt she knows other media royals, from Rock Kings, TO Media Kings, To Pop Emperors (Men Who Own The Pop Media)

when she was notified that Eric Was legit, and had showed up as his letter said, she immidiately became offensive, and held meetings with all of her contemporaries, for the singular purpose of destroying this one man, for this man has a destiny far exceeding the likes of Elvis Presly, you see, the media can declare anyone it wants a rockstar nowadays, but how much more is a rockstar going to shine than when the media bans together to destroy one man pursuing his destiny and his dreams obviously people were threatened.

well when Eric was put to the test, he was stuck, when a new talent has to be put to the test, and has to walk into a nasty trap meant to destroy not only his star but his life itself, what can he do, nothing, his fate was sealed, but what the powers that be hadn't counted on was that his Aura was preordained since he was born, he is one of those very same royals, born a Prince, to a star Queen.

    Making him a star prince.

Well, an angel was sent to him, to show and to place him onto the proper path of a true rockstar, a true rockstar does not bow to the media, the media has to yeild to him, well if the media refuses to bow, what does a prince have to do, he cannot loose, if he does his life is over, and if he cannot win, no matter what, because of these very same powers, then he is left with only one option, total destruction of the empire, So thats what he did, he was told to destroy Pop culture, and he did,

but the story is still unfolding, and it will be unfolding even greater, I have it on great authority to reveal what his next steps are, he has an enemy, an idol more exactly that he has to outshine, this idol, has everything that Eric Has, the main difference between these two is beyond compare, Eric has a song list 100,000 songs deep, and He has mapped music in itself. THis Idol on the other hand has made and taken every worthless deal to be able to pose a rival to him, he has signed a deal to the pop empire, making himself an indentured servant, so all the resources of this empire will become available, to that his guitarist, will be saul hudson (Slash), his songs will be written by top song writers in the industry, his music will be recorded on the best equipment available, and they will prop him up as a God, but the truth is at the end of the day, he is not a Rock God, he is a fraud, aside from his voice, he did not earn his stardom, he sold away every piece of his star quality and has turned it into an abomination of what a true rockstar is.

Eric on the other hand has written his own songs, he has learned the music himself, he has produced his own music, while everybody told him he was worthless, and a joke, while this idol was lifted onto a pedestal, having not earned his way, but owing to the true vestiges of Pop, sold out all his integrity.

These facts are indisputable, Eric is going to make it on his own, and will land beyond any of the present past or future in rock history.

there is more to that man than any of you could dare dream, unlike this rival Idol, when Eric was put to the test Eric Shattered the Pop Kingdom, and The Pop EMpire, when this Idol was put to the test he said nothing, and just bowed down, that is not what a rockstar does.

Eric has an aura, even when his voice was altered, and the evidence destoryed, people still run to him, whenever they found out he was there, and this is without having scored his success, He has his own style, he is a fighter, and is driven beyond all measure to succeed, he starved for it, he suffered for it, he lost true love for it, he fought bears for it, he faced evil gang members for it, he faced death hundreds of times for it.

He is legitimate, and when he launches November 2009, anybody who comes across this article/comment will know that I am telling the truth about him, and the media.

Just a man who knows Eric M.
